Anyway what is this site all about - well it's to show what i can do plus share photos, news and have quick access to links all in one place. Basically it's for me Just a brief about this site it's written in PHP with live feeds from other sites for the news and weather which you can see on the left. All the information on this site is dynamic and is all pulled from a SQL database and can be changed via a tool that i wrote that manages the data the links page contains links that anyone can add to - I do monitor what is put on there but not that often (so you have been warned) I have several private zones on this site which is accessable only via logging in if you want to know what these are just ask. The downside is that some of the features that im trying to get to work don't because of the hosting solution i'm using, Things like forms to e-mail so that if a new link was to be added i could recieve an e-mail to verify this. I'm constantly amending the backend of the website - even though you cannot see these changes i'm in the process of creating new management system for this site - which will also create an RSS feed (Somehow) So all in all this site is realy just a techie gadget with no true meaning or direction, where i can show what i can do and share links n things have a private area that my extended family can see the photos of our family.
